Bell Helicopter has rebranded as Bell, the company announced on 22 February.

The rebranding will be fully rolled out over the next year. Along with the company’s name, the logo has also been changed, and now depicts a dragonfly on a shield.

The company said in a press release that the new brand strategy and logo ‘are rooted in the company’s focus on innovation and customer experience’.

Mitch Snyder, president and CEO, Bell Helicopter, said: ‘˜Bell has always been about more than just helicopters. Our team has spent the past 80 years pushing the boundaries of flight, and now we will accurately reflect that quest.

‘˜This rebrand is not just about a new logo. We chose to do this because we see ourselves at the forefront of technology. We believe this refresh embodies the idea that we can make the vertical dimension more accessible.’
