Russian Helicopters and Craft Avia Center are planning to open a technical maintenance centre for Ansat type civilian helicopters in Guadalajara, Mexico, Russian Helicopters announced on 25 April.
The first Ansat helicopter will be delivered to Mexico for Craft Avia Center in 2019, with the centre expected to start operations in 2020. The centre will be equipped with required documentation and technology to carry out the work, with training provided for Mexican technical service engineers.
The light multi-purpose Ansat is a twin-engine helicopter used for passenger and VIP transport, cargo delivery and environmental monitoring.
